Justin Kluivert becomes the second top five scorer of the 21st century

English Premier League (EPL) Bournemouth striker Justin Kluivert, 24, has become the first player to score in all five major leagues.

Kluivert scored to make it 2-0 in the first half against Sheffield United in Round 13 of the 2023-2024 EPL at Bramall Lane in Sheffield, England, on Saturday.

It was the first regular-season goal for Kluivert, who switched to Bournemouth last summer. Kluivert’s performance helped Bournemouth win 3-1 and move up to 16th in the table.

With his goal against Sheffield Wednesday, Kluivert became only the second player of the 21st century to score in all five major European leagues (EPL, Spanish Primera Liga, Italian Serie A, German Bundesliga, and French Ligue 1), according to sports statistics company Opta. 무지개토토 도메인

Prior to Kluivert, Montenegrin striker Stevan Jovetic (Olympiacos) was the first.

The second son of Dutch living legend Patrick Kluivert, he played for AS Roma (Italy – 5 goals, 8 assists) in 2018, followed by Leipzig (Germany – 3 goals, 1 assist), Nice (France – 4 goals, 5 assists), and Valencia (Spain – 6 goals, 1 assist – all in the regular season).

It’s unfortunate that he’s in his mid-20s and has been bouncing around so much, but it’s also true that he’s gotten better with experience. Unlike his loan spells at Leipzig, Nice, and Valencia, he’s been a permanent fixture at Bournemouth and has steadily increased his playing time. In his last two games, he has started and scored in both of them, which has given him a lot of confidence.
